#Omori kickstarter plus
Plus like what has been said, a kickstarter is not something that may happen in the end. and not saying they are bad or anything, just had bad luck with the project) well pretty sure the Homestuck team is pretty well known on the internet too. (and as you mentioned, Toby Fox is well known. When you look at that, the complete game is still not out either. (Still feel bad what happened overall with that project and know the team is still trying with that one too. and Act 2 only just coming out as recent as this past November. I wonder your opinion about Hiveswap, considering Homestuck was mentioned in this thread now, which is a well known thing and still is in development hell with a kickstarter that promised 2014. On the other hand, Omori was backed by kickstarter and all of the investors were left in the dark with little communication Was this going to be another Barkley Shut and Jam scenario - take the money and run? Or would the game eventually release after an extremely long, unexplained delay? Luckily it was the latter but now we need answers. Toby fox aside from doing a kickstarter for undartale he had previous experience with the homestuck team lmao Now they will work on kickstarter reward. Sure the development of this game was clearly not perfect, also the communication was quite bad, but the game is still here. Also I think these people who work on Omori didn't have a lot of gaming experience. Also backing a kickstarter project it's always a risk. Who care honestly ? At least the game is launch. That's why he is now a big shot rubbing shoulders with the Japanese GODS of video games. Toby shows immense respect to his fans, his backers/investors and just the whole world in general. (not to mention health issues Toby has shown too, which for all anyone knows could be another issue when it comes to game development by teams) The difference is that Toby has not kickstarted Deltarune and he is being open and honest about how long he thinks the game will take + the potential delays. and he's got more people on the team than Undertale it sounds like also. Originally posted by Dizzy Luc:However this complaint is dumb and using Undertale as an excuse isn't a good example either when Toby is working on Deltarune which might take even longer, with him mentioning something about 7 years too.
